Taking inspiration from the natural surroundings, every property is individual, yet all are beautifully designed where guests can unwind, and relax in the comfort of their very own Hypnos bed.

The-Tawny-Relax-In-Natures-Embrace-Placeholder-1.jpg“We’ve taken all the best bits from a traditional luxury hotel experience and combined them with your own private space, a country escape to call your own for the duration of your stay. Our guests want to relax in nature’s embrace but don’t want to compromise on their well-deserved creature comforts. A great night’s sleep is fundamental to our guests’ wellbeing and choosing a bed of exceptional quality was never up for debate.” Josh Chadwick, The Tawny General Manager

2024 marked the launch of ‘The Fledglings’; a collection of luxury serviced rental accommodation, each offering a unique home-from-home experience.

“We could not be more delighted by the feedback we receive from our guests. The Tawny is a place to escape and relax, but with all the creature comforts of a well-deserved break. We recognise that a great night’s sleep is fundamental to our guests’ wellbeing, so choosing a bed of exceptional quality was never up for debate. And when it comes to preserving nature, we know that Hypnos share the same values as us.

“Our third Fledgling property is planned for Spring 2025. We will continue to plant a tree for every Fledgling booking, as it reflects our dedication to preserving and enhancing the surrounding countryside. Every tree planted goes some way to ensuring that future generations can revel in the same natural beauty that inspires visitors to The Tawny.” Josh Chadwick, The Tawny General Manager.

Hidden away in a secluded setting lies Kestrel Cottage. The perfect place for those seeking a private home with all the luxuries of a hotel. Complete with its own outdoor spa bath, heated infinity pool, Big Green Egg BBQ, cinema room and, most importantly, a personalised concierge service; guests can expect a seamless getaway. What their guests say

Hands down the best place we have ever visited. Every little detailThe-Tawny-Relax-In-Natures-Embrace-Placeholder-3.jpg of the stay was done to a standard that went above and beyond anywhere we have ever stayed. I could not recommend the place enough, you have our hearts and we cannot wait to come back! - 20/03/2022

Cannot fault it. Comfiest bed I have slept in for a long time, loved the sky-light, log-burner, hot shower, mini bar, coffee facilities. Outdoor tub so much nicer than contemporary hot tubs. Setting amazing. Just divine. - 15/02/2022

We had high expectations of The Tawny but were still blown away. Absolutely perfect. A 2-night break left us feeling like we’d been away a week. So relaxing, completely perfect, didn’t want to leave! Loved it! - 01/07/2022

Beautiful room, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The complimentary prosecco was a lovely touch. - 10/04/2022
