Cocoon in Rich & Moody Layers of Elegance
Moody Elegance is here to help you find your bedroom style; in this piece you’ll delve into a sanctuary, layered in rich moody tones, modern lines and elegant textures. Because, when you step into your bedroom each evening, it should feel like a retreat, a space that envelops you in calm, sophistication and subtle luxury.

The walls are cloaked in Paint & Paper Library’s ‘Sharkskin’ a refined tone that balances depth with serenity, offering a quietly dramatic backdrop without ever feeling heavy. It sets the stage for the rest of the design to shine.
Hypnos mattress on a Deep Divan & set in front of a Victorian Euroslim headboard, both in a Tourmaline Green FabricAt the heart of the scheme is a generous headboard and bed-base upholstered in Tourmaline Green fabric. Think of a deep, muted emerald, rich and grounding, yet subtle. This is where texture meets tone, anchoring the room with a sense of calm and luxury.
Linen, Velvet & Layers of Cocoon Worthy ComfortA sumptuous velvet bedspread (similar to John Lewis’s ‘Boutique Hotel Velvet Stitch’) introduces an element of plush luxury. Layered with grey cushions and fine bed-linen (also referenced from John Lewis), it adds quiet contrast and tactile richness. These layers bring the bed alive, visually by inviting touch and in a visceral sense of comfort.

Balance is key. Two chunky lamp bases in smoked grey glass stand either side of the bed, their substantial form giving weight while their translucency keeps things light. Inspired by the style of Pota Romana, they speak of artisan craft and considered design.

To filter daylight softly and retain the room’s moody charm long, sheer charcoal linen curtains take centre stage. They are light-diffusing by day, and when the shutters draw at night, they create cocoon-like calm. The charcoal tones echo the deeper shades of the scheme without feeling heavy.
Sculptural Accessories & Metallic WarmthSculptural ceramics in matt stoneware bring quiet artistry and textural interest these are understated, tactile moments in the space. A warm gold tone pouf (echoing the throw on the bed) introduces a metallic whisper of warmth and luxury without turning the design overtly glamorous. Bringing it all together.
