WELCOME TO THE HYPNOS COMFORT ACADEMY
Through a series of designed video modules presented by Hypnos' own National Training Manager, Michael Galloway, we invite you to explore the craftsmanship, materials, and expertise that define truly luxurious sleep.
Whether you’re new to the industry or looking to deepen your product knowledge of Hypnos mattresses, our academy provides clear, practical insights you can apply to your sales pitch with confidence.
We'll explore the science behind our key mattress fillings and natural materials, why they’re used, and how they enhance sleep quality while supporting a more environmentally responsible approach to mattress making.
Module #1:
Wool
At the heart of our training is a focus on natural fillings, beginning with the timeless performance of wool. Renowned for its breathability, temperature regulation, and natural resilience, wool delivers effortless comfort throughout the seasons.
Discover how this remarkable material enhances sleep quality while the role of the Responsible Wool Standard ensures its source is traceable to ethical farms where animal welfare is paramount.

Module #2:
Pocket Springs
Pocket springs are central to responsive support and motion isolation, adapting to individual body movement for improved comfort and alignment.
Explore the unique features of Hypnos' patented ReactivPro™ and ReActiveProDUO™ spring systems, and the fascinating manufacturing process that goes into creating these advanced support systems.

Module #3:
Natural Plant Fibres
The unique blend of natural plant fibres and materials that we use in a Hypnos mattress offers sustainable, breathable and recyclable solutions that enhance both comfort and environmental responsibility. With the help of our sustainability partner, the Eden Project, we've sourced a variety of incredible natural fillings which provide sumptuous, breathable comfort whilst eradicating the need to use synthetic materials and foams.
Here, Michael focuses on some of our widely used comfort materials: natural latex, Himalayan allo from the Nepalese foothills, and fibres from the seed pods of the fascinating kapok tree, the combination of which provides a thoughtful balance of luxury and eco-conscious design to our mattresses.
