Hypnos is a family-run bed making company based in Buckinghamshire, England. Peter Keen, the Chairman, is the fourth generation to run the business while his son, James, and daughter, Sarah, are the fifth generation of Keens to help run the company on a day-to-day basis.

Hypnos has been practicing and perfecting the art of making luxury pocket spring beds by hand since Edwardian days. With 120 years of bed-making experience and insight into a great night’s sleep, the company's philosophy and commitment focuses on the pursuit of perfection and the delivery of a deep, energising night’s sleep, helping to fulfill dreams for a healthy and enjoyable life.

Hypnos's master craftsmen continue to use traditional and time-honoured skills that have been passed down from generation to generation, creating authentic pieces of Great British Furniture - a sublime expression of extraordinary and lasting British workmanship.

Paramount Sleep Company is a fourth-generation, family-owned mattress manufacturer based in Norfolk, VA, USA since 1935, working in its continued partnership with Hypnos with shared values and focus on providing the highest levels of quality and comfort with integrity, whilst pioneering sustainable and ethical bedmaking.

All of our mattresses are made in the USA. Not only does this keep jobs in our communities, but shorter shipping distances contribute fewer CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. Our state-of-the-art factory utilizes energyefficient lighting and multistage automation to optimize energy use. All discarded scrap materials that are not reused in the factory are recycled.
