An update from Hypnos regarding COVID-19

I wanted to take the time to update you on the processes we are undertaking to ensure all our employees and our customers are kept as safe as possible during these unprecedented times.

As a family-run business that was founded over 100 years ago, we pride ourselves on placing the wellbeing of our workforce and customers at the centre of our business, and this latest situation is no exception.

The Prime Minister has stated that the most important action we can take is to stay at home to help protect our NHS and those at risk. In support of this, our showrooms and factory sites in Princes Risborough and Castle Donington have closed and all orders, deliveries and the production of mattresses and beds will be temporarily paused to ensure we can play our part in helping to overcome this virus.

Many of our national and independent retailers are still operating online where they are taking orders and we will be ready and open to fulfil any that are placed through these means once normal activity resumes. During these unprecedented times we encourage our customers to consider shopping online in the safe confines of their own home.

Inevitably, there may be delays with some of your orders. Should you have any queries about yours, please contact the retailer you purchased it from, or alternatively, for urgent enquiries, you can liaise with our customer services, who remain contactable over the next three weeks, albeit safely from remote locations. Please keep in mind that it might take a little longer for them to respond to you than normal and that we appreciate your understanding and patience during this difficult time. It goes without saying that our number one concern is for the health and wellbeing of all our employees and customers and the communities in which they live, and that we feel this is undoubtedly the right thing to do.

Please rest assured we will endeavour to provide timely and effective communications, including through our social channels and emails, as things develop.
