The Hypnos family.

Here at Hypnos we have over 100 years of bed-making experience. In fact Hypnos has been perfecting the art of making luxury beds by hand since Edwardian days. Hypnos is a British family-run bed-making manufacturing company. Peter Keen, our Chairman, is the fourth generation to run the business. Peter’s son, James, and daughter, Sarah, are the fifth generation of Keens and help run the company on a day-to-day basis.

What we do.

Hypnos beds was founded in 1904 and since then we have been making the most comfortable beds in the world. Hypnos is renowned as the expert in making handcrafted luxury beds. We combine traditional skills with constant innovation.

Members of the Royal Family have been sleeping on Hypnos beds since 1929, when we received our first Royal Warrant for supplying mattresses and upholstery to King George V. We still supply beds to all the Royal residences to this day.

Hypnos also work with international hotel groups such as Premier Inn and Marriott, and to consumers through national retailers such as John Lewis and Furniture Village.
